Herb says: The State of Jefferson was the name given to the areas of Southern Oregon and Northern California that briefly attempted to form their own state during the late 1940's. The name is in common usage among the residents today, often referring to a "State of Mind" that reflects independent thinking, support of local industry and self-reliance. Herb says: The moto-cross was the subject of considerable controversy in the neighborhood prior to our purchase of the property. There is still contention on the topic within our community. |
¿Qué?: The Three Musketeers - Viognier, Syrah and Cabernet Franc.
Herb says: These varieties were chosen based on our obervation that, of all the varieties grown in Southern Oregon, these wines consistenly showed the most distinction and individuality. |
